The FIRST jointly funded program...
High Plains Grant Makers continues to look for projects to fund jointly. As the first jointly funded program, the group has chosen to underwrite a progressive learning opportunity in cooperation with the FINNEY COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM called "Celebrate Kansas!" This will be a program offered to youth to learn more about Kansas history through a curriculum using LEGOs. The exhibit promises to be an exciting opportunity to learn about the Kansas State Seal, state icons as well as the rich history of our state. The group felt this was an important effort to pursue where our combined resources accomplish something that no other funder would (or could) achieve on their own. |
